Creative Economy and Financial Environment

This study relates to the Report on the International Forum on the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture, held in Saint Petersburg
20-21 May 2010 and organised by Nordic Council of Ministers and the City of Saint Petersburg.   

Various studies, green papers and programmes (UNCTAD, EU, Nordic Innovation Centre, KreaNord NDPC etc) are pointing at the same key challenge in the emerging creative economy. The key issue is the capability and capacity (and willingness) of the financial environment to support the ongoing shift of paradigm and particularly the development and experimentation of services and intangible assets.
